Vol 1. Issue 1.

Welcome to Hip Hop @ WPUB
Thank you for taking the time out to read our first newsletter, brought to you by the gorgeous ladies over at Hip Hop @ WPUB. We’re trying to make this a weekly thing, but as you know, we are all sleep deprived, overfed, confused and bewildered college students…nuff said.
Nominations for Show of the Bi-Week (LOL) are going in soon! We are looking for DJs who chart music, sign-in, leave the studio clean, and of course have fun and entertaining shows! Winning shows get a prize, a write up in The Spot section & their poster on B-level bulletin board! So get on your grind!

She strayed away from Hip Hop for about six years, and even tried to learn to play classical piano. During the summer of 2005 she rekindled her love affair with Hip Hop and ventured to WPUB studios to get involved in any way she can. She immediately became the apprentice for Hip Hop managers working her way up to Hip Hop manager this year. Her favorite music artists are Core Rhythm, Pharaoh Monch and Digable Planets.

Anita Nixon
Anita was born and raised in the L.E.S. and Brooklyn. She discovered Hip Hop rather late in her years, but was raised on soul and jazz.
